One of the most important things about a portrait is being able to tell who it is. The second thing is making sure the proportions are correct. The two do tend to go hand in hand, and I think you did an excellent job on both. Not the mention the shading, and the firm grasp you have on the expression of determination. I will also admit to a weakness for pencil done portraits. Beautiful work.
I was browsing in the portrait section until my eyes stumbled upon the thumbnail of this picture. The first thing that came to my mind was, "Holy shat-head! That looks just like that dude in Spiderman! " And well waddya know, it IS the villain in Spiderman 2.
